Kōrero with Kurī

Kōrero with Kurī is a partnership between Canine Friends Pet Therapy and Hastings District Libraries.

This afterschool reading-to-dogs programme runs during the school term and encourages tamariki (ages 5-12) to register for a 10-minute session where they bring along a book (or select one from our collection) and read or chat with the dog while their handlers are there. Bookings are required. Please make bookings through the Hastings District Libraries website.

Kōrero with Canines provides a free, non-judgemental environment for children to build confidence while reading OR to simply have a de-stress with pet therapy.

For ages 5-12.

We may take photos or videos for Council promotional purposes.
