Hawthorne House boutique bed and breakfast accommodation comprises four luxuriously appointed en-suite rooms, three with super-king beds, the fourth a queen bedroom. This is contemporary country living at its best.

All the rooms are decorated with sophisticated refinement and individual character. The bedrooms house an extensive art collection and a mix of mid-century furnishings sit comfortably in the grand rooms of the Edwardian villa. Each room has a comfortable sitting area and french doors leading to the verandah. This offers the ideal spot for catching the sun, surveying the gardens, enjoying a cup of Hawthorne coffee, relax with a book and an evening drink.

We offer complimentary sunset drinks on the front verandah as our welcome gift to you. Put yourselves in our hands and let us share local knowledge and make dinner recommendations for you or help you make plans to get the best out of your stay in Hawke's Bay.

A continental and cooked gourmet breakfast is provided each morning at the time of your choosing between 8am and 9am. We use locally sourced and organic produce including free range eggs from our own chickens and jams from our orchard.
