Nestled on an elevated site in the foot hills that hug Te Awanga, our Cellar Door has views down through our 42 acres of vines, across the Te Awanga basin and out to the wide blue Pacific Ocean.

Decked out in white and plywood, our home in the Bay, with its sea views and salty air, is reminiscent of a New Zealand summer spent at the bach (holiday home).

Chill, take your time and taste your way across the Te Awanga Estate range from award-winning winemaker Rod McDonald – Wildsong, Trademark, Quarter Acre and One Off.

All day wine tasting and grazing, works by local artists and once a month during summer we hold our world-famous-in-Te Awanga Sunday Sessions with live music from local artists on our front lawn. Or down-tools and stay a while in our cosy but cool Vineyard Apartment above the cellar door.
