Situated in the National Tobacco Factory, Ahuriri, the Urban Winery is an exciting new addition to the Hawke's Bay Wine trail. Tony Bish, chardonnay specialist crafts wines from grapes sourced around Hawke's Bay. The Golden Egg chardonnay is made in 1600L concrete Egg shaped tanks. The Urban Winery also retails other Hawke's Bay wines made by Tony friends such as Easthope family, Bilancia and Cypress wines. Visitors can visit the cellar door or stop for a platter of chacuterie or cheese with a glass of wine on site.
