Every year St Columba's organises a Community Carols On The Green Community Event – a non-religious , family, community event with a Christmas flavour. Music, Santa, pressies for the kids, koha sausage sizzle. Bring your own chairs.
This year our entertainers will be The Bay Cities' Symphonic Band; Men in Black- a jazz ensemble, Dianne Abraham - opera singer, Hukarere Girls' College and Iona Girls College.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be relocated indoors to the church.
