Farsight

Each painting in Jennie De Groot’s ‘Farsight’ exhibition tells a unique story, inspired by conversations she had with her sons while teaching them to drive. These narratives are complemented by the spectacular compositions of her work and their deep connection with viewers.
Her expansive horizons act as a mediator for conversation and contemplation. As Jennie explains, "There's something about the immense scale that helps thoughts process and perspective recalibrate." In Jennie’s gestural and enigmatic landscapes, imagination and memory coexist, allowing viewers to discover their own interpretations and find meditation within the sprawling vastness.
