Nick Herbison w/ support from Spring Flowers

The event will be held at Common Room in Hastings with the suport act being Spring Flowers a local up and coming indie rock band.

Nick Herbison is a singer songwriter that has developed as an artist in his hometown Hawkes Bay. He has a deep connection to the acoustic guitar which is the foundation to the songs he has released over the last 5 years as a performing artist. With his deep rich vocals and his meaningful songwriting style, Nick delivers a message that he hopes will resonate with the heart and soul of the listener. He has explored genres from RnB, Blues, Indie Rock and Folk to deliver his messages of Hope, Love, Courage and Wellness.

Since 2019 he has released 4 EPs and a handful of singles in which have been both self produced in his home studio in Haumoana and with the expertise of local artists/producers Finn Roberts (Wet Bandits) and Thomas Oliver. Nick has been performing as a solo artist but also performs as the front man of Sandy Sheets which has been releasing and performing since 2023.

Nick is forging his first album in which he has self produced with the support of fellow musician and band member Hugh McKendrey (drummer/producer). With the playing abilities of Hugh, Wills Vandermeent (bassist) and Ben Liley (guitarist), 'Nick Herbison and the Locals' are bringing their act to stage for the first time. The band has performed as part of a Hawkes Bay Music Hub funded studio produced video called 'Upstage' in which they perform two of Nicks songs 'Moment' and 'Know Your Addiction'.
