Join Felicity Joy of Homegrown Botanica and Setha of Setha’s Seeds onsite in Setha’s seed gardens for a day of edible weed foraging and seed sharing. Setha will guide you though the established seed gardens, establishing food forest and pastures sharing about the design process and answering any questions about seed growing along the way. Felicity will forage for and explain the uses and benefits of the wild edible weeds that we find along the way.
A light herbal tea and wild weed snack will follow.

Setha Davenport has been growing food and seeds commercially for over 20 years. Featured in NZ Gardener, Good, Kiwi Gardener, Organic NZ, and Grow – Wāhine Finding Connection Through Food, she co-founded Setha’s Seeds in 2013 with a mission to see New Zealand heritage seeds flourish in Aotearoa and help gardeners and producers rediscover their magic, taste and health benefits.
Felicity Joy is a seasoned forager, regularly teaching comprehensive Foraging Workshops in Kapiti, Wellington, and around NZ as well as online, and has written 4 x Foraging Guides specifically for NZ foraging. Felicty loves to share her enthusiasm for and knowledge of wild edible plants and ‘weeds’ with others, inspiring others to source their own fresh, nutritious food from the wild enabling local food resilience.
