Singer Songwriters Anonymous Open Mic Night

Have you been making music alone in your room? Don't you think it's time you shared your voice with the world? Or maybe just the small and supportive slice of the world that gathers at Common Room monthly on a Thursday night, united by a mutual desire to hear and be heard?

That's right, it's Singer Songwriters Anonymous, a very Common open mic night! We're here to hear you! Whether you've never performed in public before or your a seasoned pro wanting to try out some new material this is an opportunity for you to play on the Common stage.

Singer Songwriters Anonymous is hosted by our very own Kitty Day. A singer songwriter in her own right, and the veteran of a multitude of open mics in London and beyond, Kitty holds a safe and supportive space for creativity to flourish.

Each performer is given space on the stage to play two songs, at least one of which we would prefer to be your own original composition. Songs should be played live, without pre-recorded backing tracks. Performers can register by messaging Common Room on Facebook or Instagram, or get your name down by 6.30pm on the night. Spaces are limited so get in quick!

Bar opens at 3pm. Performers register by 6.30pm for a 7pm start. FREE ENTRY.
